With this approach, Henry Ford Academy will establish an environment where skills are transferable and knowledge is shared, no matter the department within which aspiring managers are working.
How We Supported
All skills can be taught and transferred.
The main decision, in this case, was to identify the best channels through which we would make this knowledge available to aspiring managers.
We created:
- An engaging eLearning course that demystifies a range of core financial and performance concepts.
- A series of flexible assessment exercises to allow aspiring managers to apply their learning to their own business environment.
Outcome
Creating inclusive learning courses and training, allowed everyone to gain new knowledge and upskill, no matter their previous understanding of financial matters.
Equipping aspiring managers with such knowledge means supporting them in their career progression and goals, increasing employee retention and satisfaction.
This online course is accredited as part of a recognised qualification withing the Henry Ford Academy and has since been adopted as a core element in development programmes for new leaders.
