We aim to make this website and all the learning content hosted within it accessible to all learners.

In designing our content, we:

              • Seek to include people in our test user groups who can give us feedback based on their own accessibility needs and experiences.
              • Seek to represent a diverse range of people, occupations and situations which are all appropriate for the topics addressed by the learning.
              • Deploy a broad range of media and interaction types, to accommodate different styles, requirements and preferences.
              • Provide a choice of media for certain content, for example transcripts for audio and video assets and alt tags for images that convey important content.
              • Create inclusive content which can be utilised through common assistive technologies such as screen readers.
              • Render content for use on a range of devices, including tablets and other devices that do not work with standard pointing devices.

We want our content to be inclusive and to have interest, relevance and appeal for everyone who uses it.

We recognise that there are a wide range of different accessibility needs and that while we endeavour to meet as many of them as possible, our content and the techniques we use to support learning are generic.

Feedback on any accessibility issues encountered by users will be taken into account in developing all future content. Where a learner requires content in an alternative format to meet their needs, we will work with them to provide a usable version wherever we can practically do so.
